Project Overview:

SAAarchitects provided complete architectural services for the new construction of this 5,318 SF medical facility. The facility includes an entrance lobby, post surgical patient pick-up exit lobby, 3 surgical rooms, an adult and pediatric post operation observation rooms, medical gas storage, sterile processing, laboratory, 4 exam rooms, an imaging room, patient reception and waiting areas, staff lounge, and administrative offices.

This building is located on a highly visible corner lot in a very restrictive section of the municipality. Great care had to be taken on design of all exterior elevations, materials used, detailing and situating it on the site with regards to access and traffic sight lines. Great care was taken to protect patient confidentiality with check-in/out desks away from reception and waiting areas. All interior finish selections were aimed to create a warm and welcoming environment to ease patient nervousness.
