SAAarchitects provided complete architectural and interior design services for the renovations of a former three story medical office building. The client is a technology component manufacturing Corporation seeking to capture their corporate culture in a more inviting and lively facility design that promotes a healthy work environment, invigorating atmosphere and sustainable ideas. The client noted that sustainability is centrally important to them, along with consistency among staff workspaces, and flexibility in optional work areas.

Program includes open office areas to support a hybrid work environment; a portion of dedicated work stations along with ‘hoteling’ stations mixed in to support roughly 60 employees; a main lobby with product demonstration space and a small meeting room; a break room with plenty of daylight, seating areas, and a full kitchen; executive offices with upgraded finishes and glass front walls; dedicated executive kitchen to support adjacent glass board room large enough to support company-wide meetings; and a training room for 40 employees.

Small meeting rooms with glass fronts were designed into the space to provide employees separate areas for meetings. A vinyl film was selected for all glass wall systems and full glass office doors. The client chose a more subdued overall color palette that coordinates with their corporate branding, with several areas of accent featuring textured wall coverings, dramatic patterns, or high gloss finished casework.
