Red Lion Table Company
Red Lion Table Company
Location: Red Lion, PA
Project Size: 139,334 SF
Project Overview:
SAAarchitects designed the complete renovation and adaptive reuse of this historic building constructed in the 1900’s, occupying multiple tenants spanning decades including the Red Lion Furniture Company from 1939 to 1959. The furniture company manufactured a desk and bedroom suite designed by Count de Sakhnoffsky for the 1939 World’s Fair and was featured in multiple magazine articles during that time. After many years of use, the building was officially left vacant in 2020.
The newly reconfigured spaces were designed to include Black Cap Brewing Company, Grounding Coffee Shop, 98 luxury apartments containing high ceilings, oversized windows, a gym, management office, covered parking, and support spaces all while capturing and showcasing many of the building’s original design features.
