Project Overview:

SAA provided Master Planning and Design-Build architectural services for the integration of a historic row house into a new addition to the adjacent church. The house renovation’s program included new church administrative offices. The new addition included classrooms, chapel, accessibility, infrastructure and bathroom modifications.

Facades of historic, late 19th-century Gothic revival church, (designed by architect JA Dempwolf), and post-Civil War era residence blended into a complimentary aesthetic exterior. Contextually sensitive additions connect the rear of this historic church and residence. Additions seamlessly integrate with both buildings. Interiors preserve the former exterior architectural features and provide simple, budget conscious, yet exciting spaces for church functions.
