What is one thing that highly creative people do differently? Productive daydreaming. In fact, stepping out of our own perspective and exploring other ways of thinking can be a highly engaged brain state leading to unique insights. It allows us to get out of our normal thinking patterns to gain a different viewpoint.
When and where do you do your most productive daydreaming? What great ideas have you stumbled upon while daydreaming?
Danika’s favorite time to daydream is while doing ordinary, daily routines like cleaning the kitchen or loading the dishwasher. It’s her way of making those mundane tasks more enjoyable. “I do my best problem solving while daydreaming. For instance, I will be thinking about a hurdle to overcome with a new project, and a possible solution will come to me,” she explains.
